Charlaine Harris – Living Dead in Dallas

July 6, 2016

Hey guys, Here’s a review for the second book in the sookie stackhouse series, if you’ve read the first book then believe me it gets better and better.I know many like myself are fans of the tv series based of the books called Trueblood. Don’t be fooled into thinking watching the series is the same as reading the book because although similar things happen both are very different. You have to read the books to get the full story 🙂

” ‘When did you see him last?'”

‘Dead in the car.’

Bud shook his head in exasperation. ‘Alive, Sookie.’ “

Sookie Stackhouse likes living in Bon Temps, Louisiana and she likes her job as a waitress. But she’s having a streak of bad luck, first her co-worker turns up dead and no-one seems to care. Then she comes face-to-face with a beastly creature which leaves her inches from death but thanks to the vampires suck the poison from her veins (like they mind). So when the vampires save your life (for the second time) you kind of owe them, Eric calls in his favour and it looks like Sookie is heading to Dallas to use her telepathic skills to find a missing vampire. But things are never that easy… My opinion I actually loved this book (I thought I would), the story just seems to get better and you can’t predict what’s going to happen next. Sookie seems to be getting in deeper and deeper with vampires…. among other things.Like I mentioned in the beginning the books are different from the tv series so its well worth reading the books.
